- I don't work in the beauty industry, but consider myself a bit of an expert. I've worked in the corporate field for years (though currently unemployed, bummer!) but my true passion is beauty and fashion. While I have no formal training, I self-taught starting around age 11, when I began wearing a full-face of makeup (including foundation!) to school during the 5th grade. It's been trial and error ever since. While I haven't tried product that's out there, my friends can vouch that I've bought way more than my fair share. More than I will ever be able to use up.
